Tuesday Morning Meme

Marianne didn't tag anyone for this, but I thought I would do it anyway... trying to get in the habit, again, of blogging every day.

Four Movies that I can see over and over.
1. Tremors (Yeah, I know... but it's so awesome...so many lines make me laugh out loud every time I hear them..."Earl...it's a stampede.")
2. The Princess Bride ("Lub...true lub....")
3. Drowning Mona (It's just... so bad.... lol)
4. Zorro, the Gay Blade (an oldie..."Two bits, four bits, six bits, a peso. All for Zorro, stand up and say so!")

Four Places I have lived.
1. Thompson, GA
2. Wake Forest, NC
3. Alagoas, Maceio, Brazil
4. Anapolis, Goias, Brazil

Four TV shows that I love to watch.
1. House
2. Eureka (Coming back in July...yea!!!)
3. The Lost Room (seriously freaky... but fun)
4. NCIS

Four places where I have gone on vacation.
1. Ireland (with a writing friend...a combination vacation/research trip...and we're going to try to revive that story)
2. Mentone, Alabama
3. Raleigh, NC (our older two girls live there)
4. St. Augustine, FL

Four favorite foods.
1. Big Macs (a guilty pleasure..and, I'm proud to say, rare)
2. Guacamole
3. Fried Chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy (see comment on number 1)
4. Oyster Po' Boy from The Grill in Apalachicola, FL

Four websites I visit daily
1. "The Long and the Short of It"
2. Tetris Friends, a site I've just recently discovered...good down time after working all day
3. Marianne's Blog
4. Would Coulda Shoulda...and I owe her some visits. I've been too busy to visit, so I thought I would give her some linky love.

Four places I would rather be.
1. Visiting my new grandson in Hawaii.
2. Visiting our girls in North Carolina
3. Visiting Marianne in New Hampshire
4. Visiting Lianne in Florida

Four things that I would like to do before I die.
1. Get published in book length fiction. Guess I better start writing, huh?
2. Travel.
3. See LASR and Goddess Fish as very successful and influential businesses in the writing world.
4. See all my kids happy and successful in their chosen careers.

Four novels I wish that I was reading for the first time.
1. Outlander by Diane Gabaldon
2. The Dragonrider of Pern series by Anne McCaffrey
3. Gone With the Wind
4. Angelique by Anne and Serge Golon. I think this was probably the first romance I ever read.

Comments

  1. I forgot about "Zorro, the Gay Blade" -- such a funny movie! (the pipples...)

and I like this idea: ...very successful and influential businesses ...

  2. I love the Princess Bride. I could watch that one over and over again, too. In fact, I think Rocco, at 4 1/2, is just about the right age to start watching it with me. Woo hoo!!
