Five Word Friday: bullet, risk, groan, ignore, absence

Welcome to this week's Five Word Friday writing prompt. The challenge this week, should you choose to accept it, is to use the following five words: bullet, risk, groan, ignore, absence

She groaned as she probed the area the bullet had gone in and her fingers encountered the hard lump. Should she risk trying to get it out herself? No, better to just bandage it and ignore it. The absence of any medical skills - or indeed any skills at all with a knift - made that a much better option. It wasn't bleeding too much and it would just be like her to knick an artery while trying to get the bullet out.

  1. I'm going to start using your little tidbits as a prompt on their own. I always wonder, what happened, how did we get here, and what happens next???
