The Writer's View

I have two Author’s Views to be exact. When I’m able to write at work, my view consists of three windows; in front of me, one to the right, and one to the left.

The left window is more pleasant; a grassy yard with rolling hills that inclines with a house at the end of the property. A chain-link fence runs along the left side. Bushes and trees are lined on the right side.
Outside my right window is an empty parking lot that’s enclosed with a chain-link fence. Barbwire runs along the top of the fence, and two long swinging gates meet and lock in the center of the entrance. This sort of reminds me of a prison fence. The lot is blacktop with a light pole standing in the middle.

The view in front of me is a service road that leaves from my guard shack, traveling out, curves to the left, and stops at the main road. The two properties I mentioned runs alongside the service road.

I had mentioned that I have two Author’s Views earlier. I’ve described the first one, and the second is when I write at home.

Outside my bedroom window, a full pine tree stands and blocks everything from landscape, sky, and the sun’s rays. One could say what else is there left to look at? I have an answer to that, and it’s the birds that fly in and perch themselves on the inner branches. It’s really all about the details. I have watched all kinds of different breeds: Sparrows, Cardinals, Blackbirds, and Bluebirds.

The view also helps me recall what it feels like to be in the woods. Everything from the amount of shade, sounds, and smells that may exist to what insects’ one might see.

Sleep Stalker takes you into the lives of a group of people that are experiencing nightmares; however, they are a bit more than just bad dreams. After numerous reports of an outbreak of nightmares, unexplainable deaths begin to occur. Then three decades later, it happens again. There is speculation that the deaths are at the hands of a demon.
