Today's words are: hint, lust, sheen

A continuation from last week's 3WW.

Julianne pressed her ear against the door, but not a hint of a noise came through. Gritting her teeth, she turned the knob and pushed the door open, cursing the lust for knowledge that led her to this conundrum. Apart from a heaviness in the air, the room was empty. A sheen of dust covered the surfaces...dust that hadn't been disturbed for a long while.

She shifted her gaze and a shadow shifted across the mirror. Whirling to look behind her, she caught sight of a robed figure disappearing silently through a door.

  1. I went back and read last week's (Your link, btw, didn't work) 3WW and, now, you've got me curious! I love the reference to Hamlet! My British Literature students are reading it right now and we just did that scene. I'll have to share this with them!
