Please welcome our guest victim blogger for the day: Skhye Moncrief

What is hip? Oh, get ready to belly laugh!! Betcha haven't heard these before... Museums, excavating potsherds, trees, rocks, okay everyone likes jewelry but for me it's a mineral collection, bagpipes, Javanese music, Mongolian throat singing, making maps, old dead things in rocks (fossils), and for this year---elliptical machine! I'm trying to stay excited about exercising so give me a round of applause, please! Oh, I forgot to mention I like barbarians. :) A little dirt and sweat makes a man look tough, methinks.

When did you start writing? I started writing toward getting published in romance back in grad school around 2001.

Where were you when you got your first kiss? That's for me to know and you to find out. :) But I'll tell you how old I am. I must have plastered that all over the Net by now.

Why does i come before e except after c? It's a grammatical rule somebody thought up to torture people like me who are dyslexic.

How many writers does it take to change a lightbulb? In my case, one. Get out of my room. I'm in control. And nobody else ever does anything the right way... I always have to fix things after letting someone help!!! Yes, I'm a Myers-Briggs Field Marshall. The upside is I get to run the war. :) Drop and give me 20! Dig that ditch deeper. If you hurry, I'll let you break for a sip of water. Now get back to work. Oh, sorry. I forgot I was being interviewed. Thanks, Judy. I needed that. The world is a brighter place now. ~Skhye

Oh, it's a good thing you didn't ask me where the snow goes when it melts like you did Renee Bagby. I would have had to get all geological on you! ;) These really are fun interviews.

  2. That is a hilarious interview. In corporate america I'm a worker bee. I like to just sit and get down to work. No I don't want to be a manager and certainly not an exec. Drives my husband nuts. :)

However, it's my story and you better get out of the way. You can read and make comments. If I like them, you might get a thank you...otherwise tough #2 for you.

  4. Beth, have you ever taken the What Breed of Dog are You at Work? quiz? Or the What Breed of Dog are You the Rest of the Time? Quiz?

I'm a Jack Russell Terrier at work and a collie the rest of the time. LOL. HUGE contrast.

Thanks, Debra. I remember getting to go behind the scenes to view the paleontological collection at the Balcones Research Center waaay back in jr. college. Boy, it was so cool! Wish I could have stayed there...

  9. to funny how many writers does it take to screw in a light bulb.. LOL. I would have thought 4. One to think about the idea and plot it, one to write it, one to critque it and the last to publish it or get the deed done. Skye's answer one, she's in charge was fantastic but you quickly saw all the people we morph into when writing. Yes my muse is screaming get my fat .. who who who back to work. Great Interview loved it!
