What is the last book you read?

I just finished reading The Spy Who Wants Me by Lucy Monroe. It was great fun to see characters from previous books pop in, and I loved the chemistry between Elle and Beau. The book before that was The Tycoon's Pregnant Mistress by Maya Banks. I've loved her Samhain books, and have a soft spot for categories, so it was a perfect fit for me.

When is your bedtime?

Far, far too late. I work from home, so if I don't get my work done while the kids are in school, I can't finish until they're in bed. I've been stuck in meetings all week, so the paperwork has to wait until nighttime. I'm a night person, anyway, but the school schedule forces me to wake up far earlier than I'd like. Otherwise, I'd have a grand old time staying up until all hours working and writing!

Where would we find you at noontime?

At the computer, eating lunch, catching up on e-mail, and watching "What Not To Wear" while I blithely break all their fashion rules.

Why did the chicken cross the road?

(My answer) Because it was stapled to the punk rocker.
(My 10 YO's answer) 'Cause no one else would.
(My 7 YO's answer) So he could get away from the hunters.
(My 5 YO's answer) To get to the guts.

How good are you at Monopoly?

Fair to middling. I don't have the killer instincts to put me in the "always-win" category, but I don't deliberately blow my chances so the kids can win, either. And I make a damn fine banker.
