TGIF (well, almost :-))

This has been a killer week, so I'm VERY glad it's almost over. We've had two huge tree jobs to do, which has run us late every night. Add to that the fact that I've been getting up at 5 AM (GACK) to make sure I can get my 750 words a day in for 70 Days of Sweat (and... in case you didn't notice the handy-dandy little gadgets in the side bar, you can see I've met my goal every day so far!)

Tomorrow, my darling, wonderful, handsome husband is taking me to the mountains for four days for our anniversary. I am SO excited. We've been so busy, we haven't had the chance to get out of town for pleasure since the fourth of July holiday. So... we are ready!

I'll be up early again in the morning (I hope) to get my 750 in and do Friday's Feast. We have a very special day planned at LASR tomorrow. Our contest is coming to an end, so you'll want to be sure to enter, if you haven't already. Also, Marcia James has a fun and sexy surprise for us at Fun Friday (that is, if our webhosting is working right. It wasn't tonight so say a little prayer for Marianne, because she might just go shoot someone over there!)

Your Karaoke Theme Song is "Margaritaville"

You are a true party animal, but your style is mild and chill.
Kicking back with a few friends and a few drinks is all you need to be happy.

You certainly don't feel pressured to be a part of any party scene. In fact, you avoid trendier spots.
You've been known to kick loose anywhere and everywhere. All you need is a cooler.

You might also sing: "Gin and Juice," "Love Shack," and "Red Red Wine"

Stay away from people who sing: "Wind Beneath My Wings"

  2. I hope you enjoy your time off for your anniversary, sounds like you need it! Busy lady! ;)

That recipe looks yummy at LASR, I told my husband that I will probably be living off of gallons of diet Pepsi.

Where did you get the widgets, I want one.

  3. Congrats on getting 750 words in a day. I know how hard it can be to keep it going everyday day! A lot more than I am doing at the moment. Good luck!
