If It's Friday....

Appetizer
What is your favorite type of art? It shouldn't surprise anyone that my favorite kind of art is the written word. I like this quote:
Creating and expressing ones’ self through various media, such as art and literature, has been a desire of mankind since the beginning of time. Also an art form, literature has been used to express mankind's deepest observations, most profound thinking and firmest beliefs; it encompasses many genres such as drama, poetry and novels. While both the physical arts and literature are a form of self-expression, each also represents a profession. Explore the world of arts and literature and discover mankind’s fascination with self-expression.

Soup
When was the last time you got a free lunch (or breakfast or dinner)? Who paid for it? Hmm... I guess the last time was when we went out with our cousin on a business trip and he picked up the tab. About time to go with him again...lol.

Salad
On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being highest, how emotional are you? During most of the month, probably a nine. During that time of the month, it goes off the scale. If my dearest, most patient husband was to tell me the sky was blue during that time, I would probably cry because I should have made it red. Yeah, it's that bad, people. At least I just cry.... I've heard of a woman who literally threw the TV out of the window because her family was watching it instead of cleaning up like she'd asked them to!! chanel handbags

Main Course
Approximately how long do you spend each day responding to emails? Less than an hour. Now, if you start adding in all the time Marianne and I spend discussing author interviews, or the free books we like to give away in chat.. well, let's just say that it's more than an hour, shall we?

Dessert
To what temperature do you usually set your home’s thermostat? Normally around 76. And let me tell you, the best investment we made was to get a digital therostat that we can lock with a secret code!!!

What Your Hands Say About You

You are logical, analytical, and rational. You have good verbal skills.

Bold and daring, you're not afraid to change your life if you think it needs an overhaul.

Practical and down to earth, you're a doer not a dreamer. You rather get something done than think about it all day.

Your emotions tend to be relaxed and uncomplicated. You don't read too much into things.

My DH says this is spot on... hmmm.. nice to know.

A very enjoyable feast, especially the quote about self-expression through art.

I am pretty emotional on occassion; I gave myself a 7. For me, my emotions relate to how much I've accomplished in a given amount of time.

Thanks stopping by my Friday Feast.

Thanks for visiting my feast. I like the quote about the written word too.

I live alone so I alone control the heat/air and I love that I can put it on whatever temp I feel like..although I'm not always happy w/the power bill.

    Have a great weekend!

I throughly enjoyed your feast! Especially the brillant quote.

Ha! I love our digital thermometer. My son used to pretend he was Magic Johnson and jump up and down in our hallway and knock our old thermastat around.

My soon to be 11 year old daughter does very well with the written word. She enjoys writing poetry especially Haikus and then putting pictures to them. Turns out quite beautifully! Your salad sounds like me, however, I'm not as extreme as the lady who threw a tv. LOL! Great feast, Judy! Thank you for the bday wishes and for stopping by to dine with me! Have a great week!
