Friday's Feast

Have you checked out today's interview at The Long and the Short of It? We are interviewing Lori Foster and having a super giveaway. Go... read... enjoy.

If it's Friday, it MUST be time for Friday's Feast. Pour yourself a cup of coffee, grab a cookie or two, and enjoy.

Appetizer
Who is the easiest person for you to talk to? My husband. We can, and do, talk about everything. He's not only the love of my life; he's my best friend.

Soup
If you could live in any ancient city during the height of the quality of its society and culture, which one would you choose? I don't know that this qualifies as "ancient" but I would have loved to live in Charleston during the time it was truly the Belle of the South. Such a gracious time.

Salad
What is the most exciting event you’ve ever witnessed? the birth of my niece, Lyndee. I had c-sections with all of my own kids, so missed seeing them born. But Lyndee was born at home, with a midwife in attendance. I was able to be there and gave her her first bath. Then wrapped her in a blanket that had been my baby blanket.

Main Course
If you were a celebrity, what would you do for a publicity stunt? Hmmm.. I guess it would depend on what I was trying to advertise. Publicity just for the sake of publicity is useless .. yeah, I know they say that the only bad publicity is no publicity, but if you are a writer (and it's writers I mostly market) you want to encourage people to buy the books. And... no matter how much publicity SOME celebrities manage to garner, it doesn't make me willing to spend hard-earned money on anything they've written. Does that make me weird?

Dessert
What do you consider the ideal age to have a first child? I don't think there IS an ideal age. Obviously, the parent needs to be old enough and mature enough to be able to give the baby what it needs, but other than that... when it happens it happens.
