First, Mariane has another GREAT story out. "MilesFrom You" is being released today. And, Marianne is having a super contest to promote this new release. She will be holding a drawing on Tuesday, May 15, 2007, at 7PM and one lucky person will win a fabulous bunch of goodies, including (but not limited to) either a Wild Rose Press Commuter Mug or a $5.00 Wild Rose Press gift certificate along with a bunch of goodies to pamper yourself: Avon Naturals raspberry shower gel, a 1/2 pound Hershey's Chocolate bar and a Harlequin Romance novel. It's a win-win situation. You not only get a wonderful read, you get all these goodies too. Who wouldn't want to rush right over and join in the fun.

The wonderful thing is... you don't just get one chance to win! Marianne is giving you (and me ;-)) multiple ways to win. So... go to this site and leave a comment. Tell her I sent you, 'kay?

Now... some news of my own.

I've been having a lot of trouble recently with Fiona's Dream. Honestly, just with writing in general. I told a friend about it and she asked what had I'd been enthused about lately and I couldn't think of a thing. How sad is that?

I woke up early this morning and scenes from Fiona's Dream were playing out in my mind like a movie... and now I have some ideas again. I don't know if the fact of admitting I was having problems helped subconsciously or not, but I'm grateful to friends who are supportive and who don't give up on me.

Now... go to Marianne's and join in the fun.

  1. When I have problems writing, I will usually just sit and vomit out anything about anything -- either from a prompt or just jumbles in my head. It doesn't have to make sense, it doesn't have to be good, it just has to be writing.

I try to write every day. That doesn't mean I write WELL every day. Remember, I'm around if you need anything, kay?

  3. I'm not a writer...I took a test yesterday that says I'm over 60% left brained. LOL that's me.

But I'm glad that you're getting back into the flow of things. Can't wait to read you new book.
