Friday Feast, finally

Boy, that's a lot of "f"s!

Thanks to Friday's Feast for today's blog.

Appetizer
Tell about a toy you remember from your childhood.

My very favorite toy when I was little was a small terry cloth doll I received for my fifth birthday. Her name was Cathy, after the neighbor who gave her to me. I slept with that little pink doll for a very long time. Unfortunately, one day she disappeared. I remember crying night after night for her.

Soup
If you could make one thing in the world absolutely free for everyone, what would it be?

Health care. I think it's so important for people to be able to take care of their physical and mental health and the cost of health care in this country is out of control.

Salad
Approximately how many times per day do you think about your significant other?

My DH and I work together and so we are almost always together. When we first married, though, he told me one time that there wasn't a time during the day when he "thinks" about me, because I was constantly on my mind. Even before he retired and I was at home during the day, I realized I was that way as well. He's constantly with me mentally and emotionally, so I guess the approximate number would be one... starting when I wake up and ending when I go to sleep (and even then he's in my dreams a lot!)

Main Course
What is something you believe in 100%?

That I've been put here for a reason. I might not know exactly what that purpose is, but there's definitely something larger than ourselves around.

Dessert
Name one thing you have done this week that you would consider a "good deed."

Not kill my daughter when she made a mess in my kitchen... and left it!!! ;-)

Not killing your daughter is a wonderful thing! [g] I'm sure she appreciates it.

Hi Judy. I'm visiting from Michele's today, and I'm so glad I did (thanks for dropping by my blog, too!)

What you said about your DH touched me. How lovely it would be if more people were as comfortable in their relationships as you are in yours.

Ashley appreciates not being brutally, viciously, mentally, and traumatizingly murder by mommy :D

Thank you Lord for inventing the door lock :D <3
