How long had it been since she wore heels? And she had never worn such extreme heights...she couldn't believe the organizer of the fashion show had picked these out for her to wear. But, they were the latest style, and she had agreed to participate in the show. Now if she could just convince herself that the whispering the clerks were doing in the ladies' department was not about her and the fact she would probably fall flat on her face in front of the whole city due to these devilish 5" heels!
