Welcome to this week's Five Word Friday writing prompt. The challenge this week, should you choose to accept it, is to use the following five words: oven, cave, brave, painter, list

She cowered in the cave, desperately trying to be brave. The death of her lawyer in such a savage way made it difficult, though. She knew they would be coming after her next. And, still, she didn't understand why. She cast her mind back, frantically listing all the events that had happened over the last few weeks.

Life hadn't been normal for her since she had found the picture by the unknown painter. It wasn't even a particularly beautiful painting. Why would an abstract painting of an old oven be worth killing someone over?
