The Thursday Threesome

Today's post comes to you (with limited commercial interruption) from Dan and .

::"Sasquatch" and "Haunted Homeland"::

Onesome: Sasquatch-- Big Foot? Yeti? "Harry and the Hendersons"? Maybe? No way? Sure, we have the entire family over for dinner every Thanksgiving? Whaddaya' think?
I'm keeping my mind open. I think "There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, Than are dreamt of in your philosophy." There are parts of the earth and ocean that have never been explored, so who really knows? I like to think we don't know everything there is to know about our world.

Twosome: and Haunted-- It's All Hallow's Eve next week; are you haunted by little creatures in your neighborhood extorting goodies from you? ...and do you do your part to provide an entertaining experience for them? ...or do you lock the doors, kill the lights and hide from the horde?
We have to be out of town this Halloween...but I normally have goodies to give away. There are so few kids in our neighborhood though and the ones that are normally go into town to church festivals/the mall/etc.

Threesome: Homeland-- ghosts and spectres: do you have any local stories of 'haunted' places. ...or are there roads you grandmother told you to never travel alone, especially when the moon is full? Just askin'...A long time ago, on I-75, as you passed under an overpass, there was a "screaming" noise. The story went that a newlywed couple had an accident there on the morning after their wedding and the girl died... it was her screaming we heard. The story... it was true. At Least We Were Married tells the story of the accident. I was in school when it happened and remember the news reports in the paper. It was very sad. The screaming? Probably a fault in the asphalt, but who knows?

And, for your procrastination pleasure, stolen from Miss Snark, who stole it from BookDaddy, a way to waste time and still be productive. Make your own Jackson Pollock. I did and I might even frame it! Unfortunately, I accidentally closed the page before saving it (but not before printing it!!!). Maybe I'll scan it for you... or maybe not. Who knows?!?! Anyway... have fun.

  2. I love the Beef Jerky commercials "Picking on Sasquatch". I so don't want to laugh, but I let a snicker out anyways. Savannah has our own Sasquatch but they call him a Marsh Monster down on Skidaway Island. I've seen all kinds of strange things come up from the marsh - so I wouldn't be surprized.
