My life pretty well goes along on an even keel. I get up, I work, I go see my mom, I come home, I work, I go to bed. In between times I eat (usually too much), do a bit of cleaning, spend time with my husband and cat.
I recently, though, had an opportunity to do something different. I spent a week with my business partner on the opposite side of the country - I flew out of Tallahasse and into Salt Lake City. I was able to see and try new things on this trip.
Don't have a picture of this but tried Chili Verde for the first time... OMG, it was good!
We went to Antelope Island and I saw my first bison:
I also saw western mountains for the first time:
I went to my first casino:
I didn't win, but I had a lot of fun!
I also saw cats walking in a mall on a leash (sounds like it should be a kid's book):
Went to the Salt Flats - known for land speed records.... it was SO.COLD.
That’s a lot of new experiences in the same trip. How cool! It sounds like you had a wonderful time.
ReplyDeleteI’ve seen people walk cats on leashes once or twice here in Toronto. It’s rare and makes me give a double take every time. I guess some cats are so laid back and agreeable you can do that with them. :)

It was so much fun! We are already planning this year's trip AND new adventures.
DeleteJudy, it sounds like you had great fun! Those mountains look beautiful! 🙂
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed the trip....this year planning the trip for a little earlier to maybe avoid the cold and see some new sights :-)
DeleteSpent three days in Park City on a training seminar. It's a lovely state, even if most of it I saw from 30,000 feet.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you had a great time!
