Welcome to this week's Five Word Friday writing prompt. The challenge this week, should you choose to accept it, is to use the following five words: other, ready, digress, tire, orbit

"You should have checked the tire before you left the convent."

Sister Mary Francis resisted the temptation to roll her eyes at the other person in the car. She was so ready to get to the retreat - not so much as for the fellowship she knew she would enjoy, but more so that she could get out of the orbit of Sister Philomena.

"I suppose you are right, but the fact is we do have a flat tire and, not to digress, but we need to call AAA or something - otherwise we will be sitting here until the retreat is over."
