Sister Mary Frances sat in the meeting, her mind swirling with everything that was being said. She could not believe the diocese was thinking of closing down the Convent of the Holy Family and moving them to other convents. And for the city to create a parking lot of all things. I guess the concept of more green spaces in the city just came tumbling down.
I love how this is full of emotion and concise at the same time. Good one!
