When I was growing up, my favorite characters were Jo March and Anne of Green Gables. I wanted to be them..to write and use my words to stir the imagination. And, I did some writing...and even had some short stories published. But, life got in the way, and my dreams of writing at some point were laid down as other things were picked up: kids, jobs, the busy-ness of living.
Today, I still think about writing, but my energies these days are geared more toward helping other writers obtain their dreams. Our businesses, Goddess Fish Promotions and Long and Short Reviews, take up a lot of time. Editing and organizing book tours keeps me in touch with writers, and I like that. I find that most authors are wonderful to work with, so I couldn't ask for a better job.
How about you? Are you doing what you always dreamed of doing?

Hey, same! LOL...

ReplyDeleteI admire how much work you put into LSR and Goddish Fish.
ReplyDeleteHow that life thing gets in the way... Keep up the writing. I know it's good. :)
ReplyDeleteSometimes just being involved in some way helps. Hoping that one of these days you can get back to the writing!
