Booking Through Thursday

I'm tired today. We worked out in the yard all day yesterday. We rented a tiller and enlarged Mama's garden space from last year and then, since we WERE paying for it for all day, we did some more tilling in places we'd been talking about putting gardens. And I planted. And I planted. And I ruined my manicure. And I planted some more. And I'm not finished yet! But.. we have to grind stumps this morning, so the rest of the planting (except the garden.... our worker is going to finish planting that) will have to wait 'til this afternoon. And now... because I am brain dead...here's BTT for you:

Scenario: You’ve just bought some complicated gadget home . . . do you read the accompanying documentation? Or not? Some of it. Like.. I'll read the user's manual, but only while I'm actually figuring out how to do something and I'll have the gadget in hand, so to speak, and do as I read. The other stuff? I keep handy in case there's something I think I need to look for, but if it doesn't directly relate to me working said gadget, normally not.

Do you ever read manuals? Again... if we're trying to "fix" something or figure out how things work or don't remember something, I'll haul out the instructions or manual to read the relevant section.

How-to books? No..well, I take that back. I DO read books on writing. My favorite is Stephen King's On Writing. If you've never read it, I highly recommend it!

Self-help guides? Nope...unless they are diet books and mostly not even then.

Anything at all? I read all the time :-) Mostly fiction.

And.. just for fun:

Your Score: Much Ado About...

You scored 15% = Tragic, 52% = Comic, 47% = Romantic, 23% = Historic

You Scored Much Ado About Nothing! First published in 1600, Much Ado About Nothing is one of Shakespeare's most enduring comedies, and probably his most performed to this day. Much Ado About Nothing tells the story of two pairs of would-be lovers and the hysterical events that happen surrounding the wedding. As Claudio and Hero prepare to marry, Don Pedro and his friends, bored with the length of preparation time, take it upon themselves in the meantime to play matchmaker to Benedick and Beatrice, two sharp-tongued would-be lovers whose love for each other is masked by the "merry war of words" in which they are engaged that both of them are too stubborn to lose. Based on your results, we believe you to be a quick-witted, light-hearted romantic who is probably very charming and charismatic. While your stubbornness may sometimes get the better of you, we are confident that you always eventually come to your senses and do what's best. You probably have a lot of friends and we like you too!
