Friday's Feast 153

Welcome to the latest installment of Friday's Feast, wherein you get to (hopefully) enjoy tidbits of information from my life. Please play along... it's a lot of fun!

Describe a toy you remember from your childhood. The toy I remember most clearly is a little terry cloth-bodied doll I named "Cathy" after the neighbor girl who gave her to me. Cathy (the doll, not the neighbor) had a plastic face. Cathy was my best friend for a long time... I told her secrets and cuddled with her while I slept. She fell out of the car one day somewhere and I remember crying myself to sleep for several weeks afterward.

On a scale of 1 to 10 (with 10 being highest) how observant are you? How about a minus 3?! Seriously, I'm one of the least observant people you will ever meet. Bob took me to the Gulf one weekend for my birthday. I was in the bathroom putting on my make-up when he called and asked me to bring him a cup of coffee. I thought this was a little strange, because normally he gets his own coffee, but (being the wonderful wife I am) I want to the coffeepot, poured him a cup and took it to him. He looked at me and said, "Judy, I didn't really want a cup of coffee." I know the look on my face must have shown total bewilderment, because he took the cup from me, sat it on the table beside him, grabbed my hand, and took me back to the coffeepot. There... sitting on TOP of the coffeepot... was my birthday present all wrapped up in beautiful paper. Uh... when did that get there????

Where would you rather be at this very moment? I can't think of a single place I would rather be than where I am right now... sitting in our den with my husband.

Main Course
When was the last time you learned something new? I learn something new every day. That's something I use the Internet for a lot... to discover and learn new things. I believe it helps keep my mind fresh (now if I could just learn to be a little more

Fill in the blank: I have ____________ but I haven’t ____________.
I have some exciting news to share but I havent' decided when to share it yet. Stay tuned for more information. ;-)

If you decide to play, leave a message here. You'll be glad you did... all sorts of wonderful people will come visit you.

I am so like you about observing things. Once, Bing and I were witnesses to a car accident and when the police officers were taking our stories, I was just flabbergasted at how much she had notices. All I could think to say was, "well, that blue car just came flying out of nowhere..."
