Several weeks ago, Marianne told our writing group about a contest at The Story Starter. I absolutely adore writing prompts (I think one of my other stories, "The Sixth Day," was composed almost entirely of prompts!), so I figured... why not. And, thanks to all the help from my great Timeless Tales buddies at WVU, my submission actually won. I have to admit, I squealed with delight.
If you want to read the story, here it is.
Have to run and get ready (I have an appointment in an hour and have to leave in half an hour... what a day!), but will post Friday's Feast when I get back.

ReplyDeleteCongratulations. (I'm visiting via a Marianne Arkins' site.)
ReplyDeleteNice blog and I'm jealous that you live in Georgia. I'd love to move back to the southeastern part of the country.
My sister-in-law lives in Kennesaw.
