A Very Fairy Monday

Tammy was having a fairy day on her blog today. I’ve always liked fairies. I still look outside in the early morning and can see the fairies dancing in the dew on the grass. You can go
here to find out who your own fairy is.

Your fairy is called Tangle Saturnglitter

She is a trouble maker.

She lives at the bottom of tangled gardens and in hedgerows.

She is only seen in the light of a shooting star.

She wears tangled dresses of multicoloured petals. She has delicate pale pink wings like a cicada.

Bekah and Anthony gave me this book for Christmas and I’ve really been enjoying it. Some of the stories I was familiar with, but a lot of them I’m not.

A warning to you all: if you are taken to Tir Nan Og, do not eat or drink anything the wee folk give you. Otherwise, you will stay there forever.

A special thanks to Selina Fenech for the lovely avatar above.

Here is a good site for all things fae… including helpful information on the care and feeding of fairies. Check it out, have fun, and remember…. Believe in fairies.

  3. I'm Bracken Goblinshimmer
She is a bringer of riches and wealth.
She lives where bracken and curling ferns grow.
She is only seen when the first flowers begin to blossom.
She dresses in leafy bracken-green. She has gentle green wings like a butterfly.

How fun. The correct link is here. It's so easy to make a typo in the darn things...

Your fairy is called Fire Goblintree
She is a bringer of riches and wealth.
She lives where fireflies mate and breed.
She is only seen when the first leaves fall from the trees.
Her dresses glow with fiery colours. She has gentle green wings like a butterfly.

  5. I'm afraid of fairies. My mother used to tell us really bad bed-time stories.
